The Partners: Lisa Perez, CEO and Chris Garcia, Managing Director have worked together over the last decade in various process re-design or re-engineering projects. Combined they have degrees in Information Management (ASU alum) and Business. With Lisa's depth in project management and Chris logistics skills this duo joined forces to create a premier eco friendly solutions organization.

HIPAA, FACTA and Gramm Leach Bliley (GLB) are laws that are in place requiring companies to protect their customer and employees personal information. Lisa and Chris began by launching an Information Destruction Company, AZ Docushred, LLC to address the needs of small to medium sized companies. Their mantra was Zero Landfill. All shredded paper and eMedia, after being rendered unrecoverable, was recycled.

EVOLUTION

In 2009 a large organization asked "what do you do with food scraps?" Lisa and Chris put their process skills to work and in keeping with the zero landfill mantra, Global Green Integrators (GGI) was born. They came up with a scalable model to handle events with 40 to 40,000+ people. Their landfill diversion rates are now in the high 90 percent range. Food scraps can be recycled by either local livestock farmers or large composts. GGI now has clients in the event planning and resort industries. Corporations and medical organizations with large scale cafeterias are also becoming interested in recycling food scraps as a means to address their sustainability goals. GGI is always exploring new avenues to safely recycle.
